This Privacy Policy describes how Four Leaf Clover Agro Private Limited ("we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data. It covers three surfaces on which we handle personal data:

  • Our Website: https://gram-unnati.com.
  • Our mobile application — Khet: An Android application distributed through Google Play to a restricted group of employees & associates. Khet is not available to general public.
  • Beneficiary data: Personal data of farmers that we record through our field teams in the course of our programmes and supply-chain operations.

By using our Website, installing our Application or providing your information to us on the ground, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website, use the Application or provide your information.

1. Who we are

Four Leaf Clover Agro Private Limited, is headquartered in Gurugram, India.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect the minimum personal data needed for each surface.

2.1 Website. When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, company, email address, optional subject and message you provide. We do not use cookies or other tracking technologies on the Website and we do not run any third-party analytics.

2.2 Android Application (Khet). Khet is an internal tool used by our employees & associates. When you install and sign into Khet, we collect: your mobile phone number, your device location and app activity. Khet is distributed through managed Google Play and is not installable from the public store.

2.3 Field. Through our field teams using Khet, we record personal data about farmers participating in our programmes or supply-chain operations. This typically includes name, contact number, location of cultivation, crop and cultivation details, and where relevant for procurement participation — government-issued identification documents and bank account details.

3. How we use personal data

We use the data we collect only for the following purposes:

  • to respond to enquiries and communicate with you about your interaction with us;
  • to operate and improve the Website, the Application and our field programmes;
  • to plan, execute, monitor and report on our supply-chain and farmer-engagement activities;
  • to manage our workforce, including employment, payroll and performance;
  • to comply with applicable law and to defend our legal rights.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for advertising or profiling.

4. Cookies

The Website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

5. Data sharing

We share personal data only in limited circumstances and only to the extent necessary:

  • Service providers: We use third-party service providers to help us operate including cloud hosting, transactional email delivery and authentication messaging (such as OTP delivery). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual and security obligations.
  • Legal requirements: Where required by law, regulation or a valid legal process.
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred, subject to the receiving party's commitment to honour this Privacy Policy.

We do not share personal data for marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

  • Website enquiries: retained for up to 24 months from receipt and then deleted, unless an ongoing business relationship with you requires longer retention.
  • Workforce data: retained for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by applicable labour, tax and regulatory law. Following that period, identifiable data is deleted or anonymised; anonymised aggregates may be retained for operational and strategic analysis.
  • Beneficiary data: retained for the duration of the relevant programme and for the period required by applicable law. Following that period, identifiable data is deleted or anonymised.

Your personal data is processed and stored in India.

8. Your rights

Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights in relation to personal data we hold about you:

  • Right of access: to obtain a summary of personal data we process about you.
  • Right to correction and erasure: to have inaccurate data corrected or to request deletion, subject to retention required by law or by an ongoing programme or relationship.
  • Right to withdraw consent: where our processing is based on your consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
  • Right of grievance redressal: to raise a complaint about our handling of your personal data.
  • Right of nomination: to nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, write to grievance@gram-unnati.com. We will process the request within 30 days, subject to retention required by law (for example, statutory records of transactions already completed).

9. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal data of individuals below the age of 18. If you believe a minor's personal data has been submitted, please write to the Grievance Officer and we will delete the data.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Sensitive documents collected through the Application including government-issued identification documents and financial details are stored encrypted. No method of transmission over the internet or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Website and the Application may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites and services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
